Been playing GTA4 at the moment so im having a small break with MS. I AM NOT QUITING its just I can't let this game pass like the other bazzillion games I have here that are unplayed.

PERFECT MASTERY BOOK RECORD!

I used two mastery book earlier (one after the other) and it both passed! That just means that I haven't failed any book! I am truly done with all the important and hard books, except for Frostprey 20/30 which I think is the super rarest and Maple Warrior which is kinda impossible. I took a screenshot but I turns out I wasn't pressing print screen thanks to the stupid keyboard layouts of laptops...

So far Marksman Boost 20-30 PASSED, SE 20-30 PASSED, Piercing Arrow 20 PASSED. Next will be Piercing Arrow 30 which is kinda easy to find and cheap. The rest are easy like Dragon Pulse and Blind.

Another milestone for me is, I finally broke the 4k Damage Range ^^ which I've been waiting for a while now. This is with Warrior Potion, which is just perfect... since we don't train anymore without them right?

Recently joined a guild which called Essence... alot of high level maplers, they are nice people but like majority of guilds it has DRAMAS which is super annoying... (ugh... I just hate being KSed by Genesis... its always a loosing battle).

NOPE I DID NOT GET SELECTED AGAIN! yeah that Tespia raffle is bs lol ^^ but all good... I submitted 3 accounts all failed...

Xbox side, thanks to Anthony for adding me in your Live account ^^ been playing some Lost Odysseys which is kinda fun... its like FF... story is kinda stupid but I love the music of this game, the novel part is not bad too (I love reading). Second game I am playing is the Naruto Rise of the Ninja game, I am pretty surprise with this game... its more enjoyable then i expected.

kMS Bowman skill updates

Back to mapling in a while... no hackers in sight which is good... back to leveling but whats the deal with the Paypal procedure in getting NX cash. I've been doing that since it first started and never had any problem with it, now it's broken saying something about incorrect Billing info. It's been happening like that since yesterday (probably longer)~ they should fix that asap since thats where alot of income for the company is comming in... duh....

now lets get into business

kMST (Korean Maple Story Tespia [Test Server]) been doing alot of tweaking with Bowman class as well as other class which I don't care about. I am not sure if I got everything covered but heres the list of things that i remembered being posted. Iam not sure if this things got in to the real server but its most likely that it will be implemented.

Most of this things are things that I red at SW.net by Fiel or ZYXWVUT

1. Mortal Blow which has been up to 90% activation if I remember correctly.
2. Piercing Arrow been changed so that when your charging it you can walk (in a slow rate).
3. Sniping Arrow which has been tweak alot of times and now its 10sec
cool down uppon max compared to 15sec.
4. According to the post, they also up some of the bows/xbows natural knockback rates, that will make Power Knockback more usefull. I am not sure if I red somewhere where they also up the % of PKB I can't find it...
5. it also says in the translation that Bowman class can fire arrows even at really close range.

6. Someone in game told me about Iron Arrow was also updated for better damage, sorry I forgot the name ><

another significant updates for us are the new 60% and 10% Helmet Scrolls for DEX, currently we only have the 30% and 70% which is kinda risky for helms like Zakum Helm and the iTCG helms.

Bored lately.... MS failed so many times and now its down, beaten, steped on, trashed, kicked in the nut, PwNed and all the negative stuffs you can think off... hackers everywhere, lag LAG@!!!... and duplicated items... economy is destroyed... sigh... getting tired of this game...

New patch is comming in hopefully they have a Game Guard update for those shit (which i doubt)... I see all the good stuffs Cash Shop but I just can't play this game anymore with all this hackers around and lagging the hell out of me and putting all those crazy stuffs in the market...

I wish... I just wish we have better times in this game again...

Sharp Eyes 30 PASSED! ^^

After I got this 97 atk Clean Blood Dagger from Newties I decided to put it up for sale... I did get alot of offer from my store but I decided to put it up to 60m (the actual PC of it is around 60-70m...) I offered low and immediately its sold. hopefully they scrolled it up to 110+ ^^

I got the money from that and same time I was reading Dualwing's blog and I saw that he was able to upgrade his SE to 30 (no fails!). Originally I was planning to buy a good overall but I decided to do SE instead. I hunt for SE30 in the market used one owl 3 results, a bit over priced so I didn't bother; After about 2 hours I used an S.Mega phone (first time I used it for buying) immediately I got results - found one for 25m so I bought it. I was kinda thinking in the negative side and hoping to dish out 60m for it if it fails, with combined luck its passed on 1st try! LUCKY! definitely got my luck from Dualwing's post entry ^^

Selling the Blood Dagger, I got more offers when I moved my store to channel 3 FM1. I just don't understand why 2-3mil matter so much and they still want to drag the price down. I mean I technically npc all items I get and not gonna bother getting like 100k profit from selling each one in FM, its the same concept...If I really need something (specially high level items) I buy it and not gonna care about extra 2m. now a days 5m are just coins.

I love the new pig!

I got more left overs from the Blood Dagger, I can't find any good overalls for sale so I decided to use some extra 50m and buy me a new pig. I LOVE THE SPEED totally worth it and it looks so nice ^^ by the way hunting for Rexton Leather is annoying as hell.

Marksman is back to being called Crossbow Master. Nexon is to lazy to translate or integrate NPC text... we are back to generic name, I was kinda happy when they changed it to Marksman.
the biggest one is sell your in game item (non NX) to other player and have other buy them using NX points. I sell a panlid then they buy it for 100 nx something like that. This is a good way for non NX users to get the opportunity to receive some NX in a non fraudulent way.

as for KMSt

Things that matter to us Bowman, Piercing Arrow can now be charge while moving (slower rate) not the best thing but its a good plus.
Black scrolls which gives random positive points to an item at 80% rate if fail 100% broken
White scrolls recover a used slot from the item has a 10% cursing rate (breaking)
STR, LUCK, DEX, INT pet scrolls, 60% rate gives 2 points

Bowman Skill Build Evolution part 2

I recently leveled to 132 ^^ my training partner ran out of NX so I don't feel like training...

Here's more info

Arrow Bomb
well you got no choice for this skill as a Hunter, you need to max it, it might now be as useful in 4th job as when you are a hunter , its still a good back up skill. Arrow Bomb is still a good skill if you don't max Inferno since those are the only few mob skills of Bowman.

Mastery's for Bow and Crossbow
Max it since you need to use this for 4th job Expert skills. before in the dinosour era of Maple Story they told me to put this at level19 only because the 20th just gives acc it makes sence but in the end I have to reset a skill point just to make it to 20 -.-

Puppet
I know as a Sniper before we got plenty of skill points to max this, turns out that I made a good choice. I know Rangers will have a hard time with this but this skill is still really useful, A mob of Skele can obliterate a full level puppet in a few seconds but then again you wont be putting the puppet directly at enemy. What I am just saying is enemies get stronger the more HP of your puppet the longer it can stand big blow from future high level enemies. Sniper should MAX it but if your a Ranger put it in a decent level if you can't max it. Also if you want to solo bosses then this is the only way to go, I myself don't find soloing bosses fun so I don't recommend it if your maxing it just for that.

I also use this whenever I handle the bottom and top platform of Newties other than that I really don't use it that much where I put it in line with the enemies attack (everything else I put it in a platform where the enemy can't reach it).

From this area you can reach 3 Newties including the transforming one in the right most. so basically your attacking 4 Newties ^^

Bow and Crossbow Expertise (Mastery)
This 4th job skill is a must have, Immediately put 1 point in it upon advancing to 4th job. make sure when your putting points in it you arrive to a number where it will benefit you, basically you put point in it every 3 levels so you get 1 attack. At the moment I am prioritizing this skill the most since this is the skill that will really up the damage overall.

Sharp Eyes 20-30
Sharp eyes 10 is good enough if you can't find 20 I HIGHLY suggest though to skip the skill until later because the boost from 10-20 is not that great to be honest. The only thing I noticed is the fact that I see more purple damage. Recently I got boosted by SE30 (by al) and still the same! no huge difference DISAPPOINTED! I am telling you guys to skip this skill (1-10 is best WOW experience in MS) for now if you can but if you have access to 20 or 30 then don't hesitate to pump it up, its a really really good skill for other people, every party in skele want a piece of this gold...

Maple Warrior
Good skill... max it for sure but right now we only got up to level 10 only because it's a Horn Tail drop. Last priority because if you party with someone specially a thief then they most likely to have the skill. Just get MW from other people and max you mastery, SE and hurricanes first

Frostprey
Immediately put 1 point in it. Godly skill at level one, I can only imagine if its 3 sec freeze. I love this skill! Delay the skill so you can max other important skill.
I heard this skill doesn't work with Blind (Marksman skill)

Bowman Skill Build Evolutions

Back in the days we are all "oh get Power Knock Back it's a good skill in tight places" it turns out that after 3 job as a Sniper and now as a Marksman i never freaking use that God damn skill. Right now im going to tell you which skills are awesome and which are kinda useless now.

Double Shot vs Arrow Blow
well technically this skill is obsolete after getting Strafe, but until now Double Shot remain supreme in terms of damage calculations just because of damage that comes from Critical Shot.
Future updates: from KMS they had an update that made Arrow Blow a bit higher than the usual.
Verdict: Until that update comes to GMS its pretty much Double Shot still

Focus vs Blessing of Amazon
Focus is an Active skill that boost Acc and Avoid while Blessing of Amazon (BoA) gives permanent Acc. I know alot of Bowman who put points in BoA instead of Focus, it's not a bad choice but Wizet just updated the Avoid formula which for reason we do allot of "Miss" from enemies (I guess they did this update when I was on break).
Future Updates: Well nothing is being tweek with both of this skills other than the fixed Avoid formula.
Verdict: Focus wins overtime but with pots from NLC that gives 20 Avoid as well then this is kinda pointless. To save money put the points at Focus, the passive Acc from BoA doesn't help that much since we got bazillions of those. Also if your a Marksman you get the skill called Blind which lowers the enemies Acc, with more Avoid from Focus then we get more "miss" from enemies

Power Knock Back
I never really use this skill, in fact it's not in my hot keys anymore for some reason, This skill could be really great but with skills like Mortal Blow and Dragon's Breath, this skill just became useless. If you don't want to put points in it thats fine if you can bare with out this until you get Dragon's Breath. the only good thing about this skill is it has no range limit what so ever.
Future Update: Recently in KMS they up the % of this skill to i think 90% which gave em more competitive advantage.
Verdict: with that update from KMS its becoming a nice skill but still useless for me I don't know how hard it is to be a ranger but to be honest Ive never seen one use it.

Blizzard
This skill remains at 21.

Strafe and Eruption/Rain
This skill remains the same max it for full potential. A maxed Hurricane of Bowmaster will make a good "upgrade" from Strafing, Strafing can still be a good skill for Bowmaster since this skill has mobility in it, trust me you'll be doing jump shoots every so offen

Golden Eagle and Silver Hawk
If your a Bowmaster max Hawk, if you a Marksman put it to 15, Frostprey made this skill useless and trust me you'll never gonna train in an area where you cant freeze the enemies.

Soul Arrow and Bow/Xbow Booster
MAX them both, Its funny I don't have a max Booster so I am at this point that whenever I use booster my HP goes down abit and i have to pot to make sure that my HP is at the max because the Skele will 1 hit me :x

Final Attack
Skip it, but if you insist like me then its not a bad skill once you get use to it, whenever use Iron Arrow I see sometimes like a free 14k hit from it.

Mortal Blow
Max it if you can, really is a helpful skill its like 10k+ for me. Also you get to flinch the monster for a small pause which gives you time to Blizzard or Dragons Breath.
Future Updates: well in KMS they gave this a huge boost. I think at max they gave it a 90% activation compared to 70% - which is almost every time so I can only imagine the lovely 90%.

Thurst vs Mounts
No, Mounts didn't hurt a single amount of Thrust. While Training it's good to move around faster. With mounts you only use it when you have a "clear passage" also back it up with Auto Pot pet item if you don't have that then you'll die alot if you use this in training. as a Marksman put at lease like 10 and Bowmaster can skip it for more better skill.

Frostprey vs Blizzard
They said Frostprey pretty much made Blizzard obsolete, answer is NO. I still use Blizzard all the time because Frostprey lack the range and it can only freeze 4 at a time. I can see the smaller use of it in the future when you have like 3 sec Frostprey but not completely remove it from my hot keys.

ITCG 2

Yesterday before going to work I decided to pass by Target to check their latest deal in video games, I saw in the ad that they are giving away $10 giftcard for certain games (mostly new ones!). turns out they don't have devil my cry 4 all of em sold out, so i said , "OK, no prob, not really in a hurry to grab one" its just when theres a sale why not take it but no luck..." but what really tick me the most that day is when I pass the toy isle (the video game and toy section are always close) and i saw those ITCG 2 OMG BOSSES booster pack. I grab 7 packs just for the heck of it (lucky number). I feel kinda ackward buying those thing to be honest, so I went to a register where theres like an old lady ringing... yeah thats how I am afted buying card games... sad huh...

After 8 hours, works done,went home, log in to MS right away... I started to open each one of em and to my suprise most of em give 1 fucking code card, 4 booster gave me 1 code and like 3 of em gave me Maple Mead and Ginger aile. the other one gave me a PET! I dont know I didnt expect that so I forgot about the patter for pet code and I accidentally got another Black Bunny. the 5th booster gave me 2 cards and one is a LeFay Jewel and a Pharaoh Wrapping. The most un expected event though is opening my 6th pack, I got 5! yes 5! coded cards, I don't know if this is a packaging defect but I remember me and my friend opening a box of ITCG set1 booster box (check my old post) and majority is 2 pack then 1 then 3 but not 5 (or no 5 at all). With 5 cards I got yet again 2 Maple Meads, 1 Crystal Shard, another LeFay, Jewel and a Ridley's Book of Secrets. My 7th booster gave me another Ginger :8

So basically with the new set, they oviously up the single cards and % of receiving a crappy stuff like the Maple Mead... kinda dissapointing... but I guess it still revolves huge luck...

Earlier, about an hour ago, I tried finishing the Crystal Ilbis Quest. Basically you just go to John Baricade in NLC and if you have all the items needed he will give you the forging manual that you need to bring to NLC. I went to NLC with all the items needed - damn that Dark Crystal it give me a headache, thought they have it in Perion but nooooo~ so i went to my mule in Ludi and no0oo~ so I have to my main and travel back to El Nath this is all happening in like 30 min away from the server check. Finally I have all talk to that npc in Omega Sector... tada!!! It went through WITHOUT and Ilbi in my posetion... Yes the quest marker really states that you need an Ilbis for it but I guess theres a glitch here. After receiving the item, 5 sec later the server checked happened! hopefully when i get back all my items are fine (including my new Crystal Ilbis ^^)

The reason why I really push this, is because I have the feeling that the glitch they are talking about in Sleepywood forum si true (about not taking the Ilbis and thats where I saw it) I tried to finish it before the server check becouse they might patch it.

Sharp Eyes 20 YAYNESS!!!

So I guess my right of passage as a true Bowman has ended ^^ I FINALLY GOT SHARP EYES 20! (YAY /GG!). I trained in Shark and Cold Shark for aproximately 5 days with 4 and 3 hours of 2x drop (around 18 hours of 2x drop I guess). I am not sure what drop it though since I was doing "swim Arrow Erruption" on the bridge platform of the map (entrace of the shipwreck) where theres a combination of Shark and Cold Shark. I got it directly below that rope that I am hanging on on the first screen shot. I am thinking that it came from a Cold Shark since majority in that area is a Cold Shark. After getting the book, we all know that just half of the battle, the next is making sure its a success... I used it, and it worked! (WOW!) Hopefully once I level up I can distribute my points to it... so exited.

Now I can also confirm that it drops from that area, I guess by now I know that there's no more skeptics left.

just got my Oinker

So yeah, I just finsh the Monster Riding Quest... Pretty easy actually, you don't really need a guide for this but I just want to be careful not to blow my 20m for this thing. The only crucial moment that you need to check is the part where you catch the Oinker. Some says that you can click (double click) the potion when the Oinker is around you and some say that you need to be beside it (over it, while it;s behind you), I did the latter part. I didn't understand it before until I saw those video guides, I thought when you get close to it, it bumps you like a regular enemy but actually when you get close to it, it just passes you by; when you two overlaped each other just use the potion from there just to be safe (it's really not that hard just avoid all the enemy). Also I saw the official guide from MSSEA that you don't need to excatly ontop of the Oinker when you want to capture it (actually nothing specic was said). So which ever you follow doesn't matter, I just followed whichever the one thats proven to work by alot of people.

UPDATE: I just found out that when someone cast a SLOW on you like those annoying Cold Shark in Aqua Dungeon, guess what, you still move with 150/120 phase until you dismount or the SLOW spell vanishes. It's a good plus seeing how all Bowman now adays just want to hang out in Shark area just to get a hold off SE20.

UPDATE2: I am really loving this! It kinda cut the use of my Speed Pills (the one from Ludiberium). so yeah... if i have a spare 50m I will really get the Silver Mane upgrade... kinda convinient specially if you have a Auto Pet HP for those accidentaly bumps.

Snipe and Dragons Breath

So this past few days i've been itching to finish all the 4th Job Bowman quest. 3 Days ago I found the Book from Sharks by accident, I was actually just messing around helping this other Bowman by giving SE (its considered training too I guess), then it just pop up after about 1 hour and 20 min. I decided to get Snipping since I got nothing much to do. The quest itself is kinda annoying with all the back and forth from different continent (Nexon really wanted those VIP tele to sell). After all the back and forth talking to NPC (it's pretty easy just open the Quest Helper, if you still can't follow go to Sleepywood.net and look for guide No0b ^^), "The Rememberer" will ask you to collect 50 black marble thingie from Macis and Spear I think Kargo and Rog also drops them (I went for Macis and Spear), took me about an hour+ to do that. After you deliver the goods back to "The Rememberer" you'll gonna need another 4th Job Bowman to accompany you the next area. Coincidently one of my Marksman buddy Kaz also looking for a partner for the quest (Hes waiting for another friend to help him, who's "AFK" in like centuries LOL *ahem Al...*). We teamed up, the next area which is to kill 300 Rogs in this special training area (this Rogs are not dumb down same stats but no drops). The map is Horrible its small with 2 ropes in both end... No other platforms just in your face Rog bumping (I don't see why the game call this the legendary training area for us). The spawn rate of this Rogs are high and got 20 min to get the job done.

Here some Tips

Bring alot of Elinia Town scrolls, when you die you tele back to Elinia then take the VIP taxi, sooo annoying to walk.
Right now its safe to do the quest because of the free Charms from those chocolates but after that I suggest do this after leveling since theres a high chance of you dying.
Bring about 600 cheese, you'll gonna be safe with this amount (I love spamming them)
With the current glitch destroying MS, minimize the use of Strafe and other Attacks that will cause you to Bow wack. If you get DCed you'll re spawn beside the "The Rememberer".
At first I thought you really need to finish the Quest once you entered it, actually it's not, even if you die the Quest still keeps tracks of your Rog kills; So basically dying and DCing is fine, you wont redo the whole quest you start where you left off.
You need another 4th Job Bowman to enter the area. Even if he finished the quest already it still fine, you do the killing he can sit at the top
Ask someone with high SE and Maple Spirit, it helps
Don't mind the timer... I don't know why Nexon gotta put those, you can always go back if it ran out.

The Rog part killing is actually not a hard game... It's just we are limited in using Eruption (because of the bug) which agros all the enemy thus a high chance of dying. If we can use Strafe or Hurricane safely, this could be really easy. I died 2 times and DCed 3 times, annoying, yes~. After the Rog part you talk to the NPC and he'll give you the skill, Snipping Arrow for Marksman and Concentration for Bowmasters.

This morning I went to El Nath hoping to see some other 4th Jobbers who want to join El Nath PQ. PQ requires a 4th job Warrior and other 4th Job Members. With Luck I came across 2 people wanting to do the PQ as well. The Quest is pretty easy - protect Tylus from a dumb down CRogs and Warewolfs. I just spam Eruption and give SE to the party, the rest will be at the Bishops hands with Genesis <3>

some Tips

Just bring some Soda Pop, that should be good enough.
Don't forget to give SE to the members, huge damage boost for them
CRogs can't be pushed by Dragons Breath but the warewolfs yes.
For Warriors don't let them finish the quest, just grab the skill you need. This area is a good training spot... Spawn is insanely fast, I just cant imagine this with 2x.
Don't worry about the skill drop, they drop very often.

This two skills are really good addition specially DB all i wish they gave it a bit more wide area range, it feels like Iron Arrow but abit slower, but what the heck, what can u ask for this is really a very very helpful skill specially for arranging mobs for Pierce. As for Snipping well, it's a good addition, at level one its not as helpful as DB but its there if you want to see some smexy damage (destroy an enemy with Super Def up). 300 sec cool down at level one is not really fun but I can only imagine the max 15 sec time which might be good, I can see some potential in it

Anyway... tire... gotta play more Mass Effect, finishing my 2nd run... I got piles of game to play... during my days off, I don't see the sun that much hehe, I use to go around the area doing some Photography but ever since I started MS again... I became a noLifer again LUOL^^

YES .49 is here, I can smell 4th Job Lefre in the corners. I've been noticing this, I have the 2x Exp Card type 6 and it start from 12:00am to 4:00am pacific time zone and for some reason the patch always (or majority) hits us. Nexon should do something about this because it seems unfair that we can't use the card for the extact days on the description. I dont know how others feels about this because me, I got NX to pour in my character but for those people who can only aford to use NX at one point, to me cutting my 2x is bad but I am pretty sure to them it's a really big pain.

Yep finally... I bought one... I've been really looking for one of this, I got so many pictures and movies that I need to organize. The product itself is good, physically it looks appealing but not a smexy as an ipod when you first see one. The size that I got is a 500 gig but the actual size 465 gig; that's expected though, almost all hard drives are like that. Fast transfer and browsing of pictures and files, no noisy fans or anything cooling, and its plug and play, It comes with a USB cord, CD software, power cord and some diagram instructions ala IKEA... The only thing I wish this thing does is supplying power from USB not from a power cord...

now that i got this... did my computer got organized? no not really... only time will tell... LOL

ugh~ rushing rushing rushing... As we all know 4th job advancement and Lefre are comming soon in gMS (I set my time by 1/15). I've been really busy working and doing other stuffs, whenever I come home from work I only end up using 3 hours of my 2x exp card. I've been doing this for some quite time now and now I am 2 levels away from 120 ^^ I think I can do this in under 10 days.

As soon as 4th job comes in I think its time for me to get my zhelm... I just cant do it >.> probably with revive I can manage to snag one (I'll pay if i have too ^^). I wonder if i go with Piercing right away or go with all the passives and buffs first ether way I can't wait.

I also did some HP washing ^^, one of my buddy told me how to do it, so I gave it a try with 5 AP resets after that i got +100 HP with me ^^ the process is quite simple.

Buy AP resets
Level up so you'll get 5 AP points (or whatever # of points)
Put a point in HP
Use AP reset card on MP (HP and MP works in one pool I guess)
Put the reseted point to Dex

to check on how many HP wash you can do, just do this simple computation 148+LEVEL*14

Last addition to my Equip

Here's the last two addition to my equip... My MESO is DOWN to 3m OMG! never been this low, I'm thinking of grinding in Pirates for a few mil so at lease I can feel confident... really really poor now...

On the other side... I finally got some equips I needed for my daily "hardcore" grinding, not the most "godly" one but it works fine... constant knock back on training really made a huge in % to time ratio of training.

I don't know how I'm going to recover to this Meso problem... but as soon as I reach 50m~ish I'm going to grab ZHelm next. The problem is I don't know who to go to... our guild Eternia use to do some "mini" runs and yes they are successful as well but now we got a couple of long time guildmates who left us (DAMN YOU CRAIG AND RYAN LULSZZZ), well not totally left us but yeah they are not in the guild list anymore only in our buddy list T_T... with that to say we still got some of he hardcore left and still running strong.

With all the awsomeness added to the link section! you guys should visit this ultimately awesome Bowman related (I know they had experience with Bowman atlease ^^) Blog. Things to check around, like B0wjobs awesome photography (I love photography I work in a photolab) and translated MS comics straight from Korea ^^! (I wanted to do that ever since!). A last reprise blog (aka Jackk or Retallion or alastreprise) this fellow guild mate of mine is very talented person! - no jokes here check his awesome piano compositions! other than that hes also informative with regards to bowman characters. G4 by Goggyfour all info and some anime related stuffs all good read. and last Moofey's Chronicles of a Bowman (sounds like a fanfix ^^) cool and easy to read blog with.

Maple Story SEA just release the long awaited 4th job expansion of Maple Story. Along with this are new areas to explore like Lefre and Dragon related areas, all of this are geared towards high level players. New bosses are also included like Horn Tail which would be the strongest boss in Maple Story as of now. Other noted addition are bunch of quest and monster riding which is another mode of transportation.

With this release, many from MS Global are speculating that same expansion will be added by early spring of 2008. The last 3rd Job expansion came from MS Global first and after a few month MSSEA received the same thing.

Other MS related news, about a week ago was my birthday, someone (my bro) gave me a box of booster of Maple Story iTCG (I didn't see that coming) along with bunch of other stuffs (Gamestop gift card, Gloomy Bear Keys, Shirt and CoD4). I was surprise about it since I never really mention to them that I play this game I just told them about this blog and how Nexon is expanding it's marketing by introducing this card game.

Booster Box Analysis. this is completely a speculation. since this are packed randomly but still, a sealed box is a sealed box meaning it's impossible that you wont get a 3 code card booster or a pet code inside the whole box.

Based on my experience opening 14 of it (I sold 10 to a friend for $2.00 each but we opened it together), you get 80% 1 code card, 18% 2 code card, and 2% 3 code card. I think out of the 24 packs we got 2 three pack card only.

This is really has a nostalgia feeling for me since about 13 years ago I use to play Magic the Gathering and I just love love love the smell of freshly opened booster box! ^^

Here some tip, watch the code perfectly, and don't be like an exited kid like me.

watch the code card, out of the 14 I got all the 3 pet codes that's in it, but I made a mistake! I entered all of them and now I got 2 Husky and one Black Bunny (no porcupine). Each pet has a distinct mark prefix in it so if your code starts with this then you get a corresponding pet. this only applies to pets and relaxers.

OMG! I'm back after about 1 year of break! So many new things to see and explore (and buy -_-)... Cash shop got updated to a more crazy market destroyer ^^... I don't know... Hmmm I did some exploring on the map well this place is not really a good place to level 100+ ... the highest level monster to train on are Bains which are pain in the ass to kill, the area where they are located are kinda half decent, for us Bowman but really well for Hermits... There are alot of high flatform that probably a Hermit can only reach, best of all they can snipe all those Bain by jump shooting. there are a couple of good sniping spot for us BUT they have this Environmental Effect that drains MP which sucks big time.

This place is probably good for low levels though since those small foxes spawn so fast but then again seeing those flatform im sure it hell for low leveled bowmans again...

By the way, Ice Shot (Blizzard) works well in Bain map its Godly in terms of stoping large group of Bain in the top flatform (bridge flatform), sadly though Wizet is such an ass that they did all those upward ramps to kill us all Bowman.

Other noted additions are the +8atk and +10Matk foods which you can buy in Mushroom Shrine. you can also buy diffrent kinds of food for HPs and MPs

Cursed Gash is also avaialbe. a Gash with higher rate for Cursed Scrolls.

The 2 Exp Card is now officially released, Nexon release those "drugs" to kill all the allowances of American kids. I am sure that once you tried using those you'll be having a hard time playing w/o them. Just like us Bowman who uses Charms, because with out them life is 10x harder for us. 2x Exp Card works by Day and Time(weekdays, weekends and everyday card variations), you can buy diffrent kinds of time slots which ever is comfortable for you. They last for about 3 Hours per session, and yes it's fucking expensive ^^ 19 bucks. So kids don't get too hooked with this thing.

So after a few days of break I came back and I just saw the most discusting thing ever! - all my CS items are gone, it expired >.> so i decided dress up again.

Link to Pogkai's Blog for the replies/reactions regarding the questions posted.

Regarding some 4th Job Bowman stuffs. According to Pogkai,

1. Storm of Arrows has a slight delay upon start and end, but its not really a big problem

2. Sharp Eyes is definitely priority skill.

3. 4th Job summon birds doesn't need Summoning rock. [confirmed]

4. Dragon Pulse works 100% every shot, meaning it pushes monster 100%. It flinches boss monster.

5. Storm of Arrows prevents you from potting. [confirmed]

6. Storm of Arrows has a very easy skill quest.

On other news, i've been colating all the Maple Story comics by Hook (i think hes the author and writter/artist). The only problem is its in Korean Language. The series became popular that Nexon and Wizet made it an official comics. And MAYBE it might be the storyline for the Anime series coming soon.

The story is a bout a newbie guy (he is such a n00b which is funny as hell, Hes putting all the AP points to HP ^^) who met a mysterious "newbie girl" (which is not) and they venture to the land of Victoria and other lands of Maple. On their journey he will meet bunch of other characters like a swordsman and a ranger and many more. The series is still going strong and I think it's weekly release.

I'll upload the series soon so stay tune, right now it's in the 60th release...

UPDATE: I GOT A ZUNE! I'm impress!

One of my Maple Story buddy is about to die!~~~ nah~ it's just my old ipod mini, it's loosing batterylike icebergs in northpole! I got this ipod mini about 5 years ago, actually I am not sure but it was during when it was first released.

This ipod is one of my favorite tools when playing countless hours of Maple Story, grinding like crazy, this guy is the tool that kept me sane the whole time hehe~ omg! zombie maps~ please stay away!

Sooo tomorrow I am getting a new one! YEY! still deciding though~ I got two items in my head right now. Microsofts Zune or Apple ipod Video. both are good in my opinion, both has its ups and downs (I researched them already!). So tomorrow after work I might stop by in one of our local malls.

I really like Zune's interface and screen, while I love ipod's sexy look. I really don't care much about size, as long as its good. I guess i'll have to decide on that~ hopefully it wont give me headaches ^^;;

Other news, I went to Target yesterday and I finally saw some of those NX prepaid cards. It looks fine but the Maple SEA version looks nicer.

Maple Story DS Trailer

Offical Trailer of Maple Story DS. The girls in the video are from Maple Girls (the real life maple show). Also according to some website, it will retain its side scrolling adventure. It has online (wifi) capabilities (prolly ad hoc as well), job system, and an online store; it is rumored to have a pvp system and connectivit with it's big brother (PC version).

It will be relesed in almost all major countries (US, Europe, Asia) around September 07. Why is this just happening you ask? well Nintendo just recently open in Korea, that why.

I am hopping there wont be too much connectivity or friction between the two version, because I dont want it affecting my game play in the PC version. I hope it's just a multiplayer game and not a full blown MMO... I know, I know DS can't handle a full blown MMO but its still not imposible.

Final Fantasy XII & News

Ahhh at last I finally got my hands on FFXII and wow it's great! I was watching G4TV the other day and saw the review and it looks good (not that I beleave on there reviews). The game and story itself looks promissing, hopefully this wont bother my small time in playing other games specially Maple Story.

I am about to reach level 100 in aprox one level (currently 80% level 98), I can't wait on where to celebrate my level 100 moment~ will it be in a normal training?, to Rog?, Crog?, Thanatos?, GateKeepers? or from a Quest?; I can't decide!

KMS just release the official ad for 4th job <LINK>, It's a flash movie showing some skill of each class. it looks fun to watch with all those animation added to it. ^^

Yesterday I finally got my own Laptop Notebook, so YAY! finally I can do so Zakuming once I get stronger hehe~! The Laptop is a Gateway and spects are not to bad (not those gaming computer spects but its almost near that stage ^^). I'm so happy~ now I want to play MS the whole day ^^

About a 2 week ago I bought an Xbox 360 and loads of games (from my first paycheck hehe~). I am fully satisfied with how Xbox 360 is doing, online games from Xbox Live is probably one of the best. I also got alot of online friends that I met from other games (http://www.tmho.tk/) that has an 360~ so yeah... we play most of the time. For those of you who got a 360 and plays in Xbox Live maybe you can add me in your list hehe~ so we can play there as well. my tag is kaz3n.

See how my money is flowing hehe... but yeah, those are my targets for this year so I really need to have one of those ^^

Maple Story news, kMS Tespia Patch 1.2.73 already got released. Nothing major in this patch only name changes. Rumor has it that they are finalizing the skills for all classes now ^^, I repeat it's just a rumor.

Recent 2x events of gMS are great (but laggy accorind to others), because of work I can't join the 2x event awwww how unfair of Nexon putting all the time slot in the morning ><;; Hopefully i can join the last one

Also, lately i've been getting PMs from other gMS players, I don't memorize all the 4th job information hehe (probably 80% of it hehe), questions like, whats the % of this X skill in level one?, when its gonna be out in gMS?, or are X job class getting another skills?, I really don't have the answers for that (well the first one i have but I dont memorize it ><;;). your best bet is to stay tune in this blog or you can always go to sleepywood.net for the latest 4th job info (十DREAM十's 4th job thread). New patch got released. The patch has nothing much interms of major updates like skills and such. The only big thing in here is the addition of 4th Job Advancement Quest. We need to see more information into this so stay tune. Also in this patch some skill updating I think for Arch Mages, ~~Paladin~~ Hero, Crossbow Master, and Shadower(?). Oh well I guess we'll have to wait for the official translators hehe because I got such noobish translation skills hehe... ^^

New patch just got released. most of the updates involves twiking of skills and a couple of additional skills. One major update is adding the 4th job skill book update. Thanks to Keunwp of Sleepywood.net for explaning how this works.

Major Updates (so far this are the know translated updates)

4th job skill book explanation. Upon reaching your 4th job advancement (I think there also a quest), you will only have certain skill in your skill book (not all) and most of this skill are max at level 10 only. To master this skills you need to collect some skill cards/scrolls (or what ever they are called) and use it, they work like scrolls with certain rates. Some skills or cards can be obtain by Quest as well.
To master a 20 limit skill you need the respective card and use it. the rate is 70% of success. A 30 limit skill has a 50% rate. you can use it over and over.

I think after you use the cards it will increase the level (the buffer number of the skill) of you skill (not like putting a skill point). then that where you will use you skill points obtained after level up. still confused me stay tune for more info.

F/P Arch Mage - Untraslated? or is there any?
Quest in getting Fire/Ice Birds for Bowmans are added (you need to capture one or fight one to get one). This is probably same for other summons as well but as of now the only sure thing is a quest for bowman. Video for the quest located below of this post.

Cool downtime for some skills changed and removed.
Berserk (formly know as Advance Rage) 10 Orbs to cast Berserk, no more cooldown (it takes only few sec to get 10 orbs >.>).

Sanctuary for Paladin is now usable even if not Blunt Weapon.
Mana Reflection is changed to no more than 200% of max hp of monster.
Keen Dagger for Shadower stuns now.

Ok I am so pissed on how SOME of you guys are so immature about the God damn Shout Box. I've been watching this video for long time and I completely forgot about it in my Favorites list, (found it again while cleaning my Favorites list XD). This video is about how Knights are the kings of underdogs in the word of Maple Story Warriors (and whole MS universe i guess XD). The movie tackles alot of issues from skill sets to weapon lenth, camparing it to other Warrior class. It's kinda funny the way the movie was edited (top notch editing ^^) combined with the funny song, this video is a winner...

Don't you think it's sad that us Bowman don't get more defensive skill? when Reprey and the additional part of Reprey is release I wonder if we can step our foots in that area... I can't embed the video so bare with it. This video needs a GOM player plug in to be installed. to get one just click the link and it will ask you to install it, just install it. For some reason the plug in for me dosn't work with Firefox so use IE intead (yuks ><)

Regarding the update, well Assasinate owns now! they remove the charge time! now you get instant full damage. The process is still same, you enter into Dark Sight then you attack with Assasinate. I'm not sure if the damage will grow if you get into Dark Sight longer...

Summary of 4th job Skill

Heres the summary for the latest patch in Tespia 1.2.64. The movie includes the following. Arch Mage 2 type of summon, apparently I/L gets a fire summon and F/P gets an ice summon and a skill that gives you unlimited MP; Shadower's Smoke Bomb, Night Lords Enchant Venom and Soul Javelin (or whatevers the current trasnlation), Bishop's Dragon, and last two bird summon for Bow/Crossbow masters.

EDIT:
It seems that theres alot of confusion about Smoke Bomb (thanks to me T_T). Smoke Bomb is a Shadower Skill, that prevents you from getting damage while inside the "smoke", im not sure how that will work on other attacks but some physical and bump damage, you defnetly wont get hit for sure. Also im pretty sure that you can attack while inside but I am not sure if they will retain that fully on the next patch.

In the picture I posted, the "smoke" has not yet been animated, Wizet used Poison Mist as temporary animation. This skill doesn't have anything to do with poison or adding posion, this is contrary to what I posted in SW.net. Sowee ><

But there is another skill for Shadower and Night Lord called Enchant Venom, this is the skill that adds Poison into the attack. Check the video below to see a Night Lord with Lucky7 poison.

I know you want more~ ok heres some picture I screened captured from an Maple Story Video.

Shadower, gets a poison mist type of skill. new animation is still in development

Arch Mage Class, gets a summon skill. It does splash damage.

Hero gets, Sword Rush but the diffrence between the Spear version is in Hero you push the enemy not too far from your body that means you can mob more. they might change it though.

EDIT: The SS, got messed up i guess >< MS paint sux, and im too lazy to change it deal with it.

Bishop get the upgraded dragon, its a huge red dragon simillar to the boss but little smaller to that, it still hovers over you but doesn't move much like the small dragon where it looks like it has ADD. unfourtunatly I cant get a SS ><.

Last night after I came home from work, I did a little surfing with luck I discover a site with some nifty Maple Story related movies, I know you guys are craving for more videos so stay tune. I am trying to figure out how to rip the videos since its not made of flash. All the URLs are hidden under a script so that means I can't embed all the movies here in the blog. Movies are run by an application called GOM player (Google it) you need to have this plug-in to make it work, and for some reason it doesn't run on Mozila! (GAWD! I hate that).

If worst comes to worst and I can't figure out how to embed the movies I will just put the link for it. The reason why I want to embed it (or rip then upload) in the blog is, because I want it to be more simple for you guys, specially to those who not to nifty about computers. another reason is, this GOM player and there server is probably the worst when it comes to buffering speed (specially it runs WMV and AVI this two sucks in buffering, Flash movies are the future).

what remedies I did

I tried to look for the download /embed link and it doesn't have one; I have a good feeling that you need to be a member of the site to be able to get the embed link.
I tried to look for URL of the video in the Source Code and no luck.
I tried to sniff the URL, no luck as well.
I tried to look for the temp file in my hard drive and I can't locate it for some reason.
I tried to run a similar application of Fraps and capture my screen as I watch the videos but the buffer speed of the videos suck and with fraps running in the background it slows down my computer drastically ><.

If you know any solution to get the videos maybe you post it.

By the way, most movies doesn't contain anything new, just the regular 4th job and some pre 4th job kMS, but still some movies are kinda interesting to see.

I know how you exactly feel Mr. Shadower, we are like the underdogs of Maple Story (+paladis), but guess what we are not, here is a vid of a very strong Assasinate. I am not sure if they changed how Assasinate works, but what I'm sure is they still need to be in Dark Sight - the longer you stay the better damage it produces and it does Crit in the last blow, I saw a vid like a long time ago that he was in Dark Sight for about 11 sec. and the damage is fairly similar to this guy. Since they are changing all the timer (like Dragon Soul) so maybe they made the charge for Assasinate shorter too, lets just hope for a fellow underdog XD...

So you've seen Challenger and Avoid+, you can't really see Avoid+ but notice the miss hehe. well this another skill looks like a some kind so curse that acts like a poison... other words poison Nighlord style.

Comment2: From the video posted earlier, it looks like Ambush really works like an advanced Shadow Web (cast a close range, mobs frozen but they take damage). From the video it looks like it has a 100% success rate, the damage isn't anything great but I am sure it would come in very handy. Also it looks like the enemies won't be released out of the traps unlike Shadow Web.

Guilty GEAR! GODs of 2D fighitng

I'm a huge fan of Guilty Gear series even from the start, I use to play this game in PlayStation one and I was suprise on how cool the animation of characters is compared to the likes of Street Fighter (at that time I think it's Alpha 2) back in the days. As the game gets older, the game also improves from cool new combo system, cancel, chain, music (best game soundtrack ever!), etc, and they constantly add new characters in the game, and the result more deeper and fluid game play ~ it's a huge success.

The combo system of this game is so fast that you feel the adrenaline rush and then you combine those hardcore background music, equals heavenly experience (specially if your good). We use to play countless hours of this game (X and XX ver.), one wrong move and your toast for sure. it was fun.

Did you know?, that in South Korea this game was a huge success that they even have TV shows about tournaments (like StarCraft). Mostly those tournaments are group of 3 people. We use to copy all the moves and combo strategy in those shows, it's really cool. I'm particularly good (not to brag but...try me hehe) with Sol and Ky and also Robo Ky.

In this video, they are doing this some kind of choreographed fight which is damn hard to make.

Theres another game that looks interesting, this game is kinda old in Japan. The game is called Melty Blood, this game is created/designed by TYPE-MOON who is a popular Manga artist (also Dojin artist) in Japan, He is specially know in the series called Fate/Stay Night. I haven't tried this game but it looks like a hybrid Guilty Gear with a touch of Capcom style of fighting games.

last night I watched scream awards and My Chemical Romance is there! WOW what a big improvement. Back in the days Gerald - the front man of My Chemical Romance, has a bad and I mean really bad voice when it comes to live performance (maybe the days in the rehab revived his dead brain). but, last night it was diffrent, he got more clear voice and good showmanship (he always got a good antics in the stage). Welcome to the Black Parade was just awesome in my opinion, and with videos ugh~ awesomeness level +100. [hehe I sounded like a nub fanboy~]

MS Sprite Edit

The bored bowman got bored again~ so to break some monotonous task of leveling (still leveling fast though). I finally decided to start my old project of making a sprite edit of Avatar: the last airbender, I absolutely love this show since the start.

I'm just an amature in the world of sprites and edits but, I've been using Photoshop and other simillar programs in doing some CG arts.

Heres the my Avatar Aang MS sprite edit. I got a couple of Ideas for other characters. once I got the extra time I need I'll do Prince Zuko and Tohp (the ideas swimming in my head). I have planned out more charcters to make, heres the priority list:

Bowman's 4th Job, Critical Hope FTW!

4th job is currently on the test now in kMS test server Tespia. Bowman class got privilege of the most skills in the current test, here are the 3 new bowman skills.

Dragon Pulse
Dragon Soul
Critical Hope
Maple Hero (all class gets it)

All the skills and names are not final, they might get removed or adjusted, depending on the outcome of the test. Dragon Pulse, was originally a charge up skill but they change it to an ala Iron Arrow skill. This time it does knockback, it is not confirmed if they will do a ala Power-Knockback skill, it's possible thought or else this is almost useless. The next skills is called Dragon Soul, This skill is the new "charge up" skill it hit 6 enemies in a row and does 500%+ damage in max level. My guess is the % will be multiplied as the "charge up" gauge goes up. this is probable since you can make a higher damage/sec in continues Strafing than waiting for the charge to fill up. you can also release it eventhough it's not fully charged. another skill is Maple Hero, this skill will add a certain % (max 10%) to your 4 main stat (Dex, Luk, Int, Str). This skill is also a party skill, its not 100% sure that 2 or more Maple Hero piles up but it's possible. And finally the salvation of Bowmans - Critical Hope. This skill gives other job class critical mostly Warriors class and Hermit class. I am not sure about Mage class but I'm guessing that they might not get it. I am not 100% sure about this but, some skills are not affected by Critical Hope, I saw a Chief Bandit doing Savage Blow and Band of Thieves and no crit appeared even once. It is highly probable that Critical Hope piles up with the current Bowmans crit so yes we get boost damage and more crits.

If they don't change Critical Hope stat, seeing how the boost of damage (significant increase!), this skill will be begged by other job class for sure! I tell you this skill is so important in a party! So to Bowman haters out there start serenading the Bowman nearest to you because you will sure need them in 4th job.

Having problem loading embeded videos? well dump your good ol' Internet Explorer and get Mozila's Firefox. Because of this I was able to load most of the videos faster and w/o crashing. I'm not sure why this is acting up with my Internet Explorer but I'm suspecting because most of the videos are not hosted in US.

If this doesn't solve your problem, then patiently wait for it to load, works in one of my friend. After this happens the next time you load the page again, it will load much faster.

Maple Comeback!

It's been 6 long months of my Maple-less life, but I guess I can't just let go :P. Since my comeback about 3 weeks or so, everything is totally diffrent; Aqua Road was just released and they got nifty new training spots for bowmans, place is great. as soon as I hit level 80 I immidietly upgraded all m gears (Thanks to couple of Ilbis XD). I level from 80 to 86 (current) really fast with the help of my new gears and training spots, say good bye to that zombie map.

Current Goals

Reach Level 90 as fast as I can
Upgrade my Raven to 106 Atk
Update my Buddy list (too busy to do it)
Find a good guild
